Cassie Lee Reed, 98, of Pocahontas, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Randolph County Nursing Home. Born November 1, 1917 in Manila, daughter of Homer and Maxie Carter Cowley. She was preceded in death by her parents; Homer and Maxie Cowley; husband, Gloyd Reed; grandson, Michael Atkins; great grandson Judah Atkins; one sister and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Meridith; one son, Jimmy Reed; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Terry Miller officiating. Internment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 5-7 PM at McNabb Funeral Home.
