Caraway- Casie Ray Horton, 44, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Casie was born October 15, 1977 in Jonesboro to John and Victoria Fortner Sanderson. She graduated from Heber Springs High School in 1996. She enjoyed working at restaurants, sixteen years with Riverside Schools and had worked at Craighead Nursing Center. She was a member of the Caraway United Methodist Church. She loved her family dearly.

She was survived by her father, John Sanderson; step-mother, Velma Sanderson; her children, Victoria Chamberlain, John Horton and Christopher Horton all of Caraway; a sister, Jennifer Enochs of Heber Springs and a grandson, Atticus Staggs of Caraway.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gracie and her mother, Victoria Sanderson.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Caraway United Methodist Church with Jason Sutfin and Terry Mote officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

A visitation will be from 1:00 until time of service Wednesday at the church.
