Mr. Cary Lynn Barker, of Harrisburg, departed this life Thursday, March 17, 2016, at his home, at the age of 45. He was born August 3, 1970 in Newport, the son of Jimmy Don Barker and Nancy Anschultz Barker. Cary was a supervisor for many years at Asplundh in Jonesboro before becoming disabled, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing music. He was preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Bertha Anschultz and Jim and Margie Barker; a brother, John Darren Barker in 2000 and a stepbrother, Charles Kemp; a sister, Pamela Darlene Barker in 2014. He is survived by his father, Jimmy Don Barker of Hickory Ridge; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Danny Kemp of Harrisburg; his daughter, Savannah Lynn Loyd Barker of Wynne; a half-brother, Josh Barker of Fisher and step-brother, Gary Kemp of Trumann;two nieces, Morgan and Tosha Barker of Harrisburg; four nephews, Jonathan and Jaxon Barker of Jonesboro and Britain and Emmett Barker of Pocahontas, as well as several other family members and friends. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Gary Barker and Jason Goad officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Darren Anschultz, Gage Churchwell, Bradley Weaver, Bobby Tubbs, Lloyd Balentine and Phillip Billings. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Caplinger, Byron Mitleff, Dustin Weeks, Heath Bornhoft, Mitchell King, Timmy Owens, Perry Miller and Michael Schonowitz.
