Monette- Carrol "Laverne" Bupp, 83, of Monette passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at her home. She was born October 27, 1933 in Monette to the late Lee and Bessie Eggers Baker.

She was a member of the Monette Church of Christ and was the former owner of Bess and Laverne's Flower Shop. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who lived for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Marc Bupp (Terrie) of Monette; grandsons, Eric Bupp (Heather), Aaron Bupp (Ashley) all of Monette, Jordan Perrin (Victoria) of Jonesboro and Nathan Perrin (Samantha) of Bay; thirteen great-grandchildren; cousins, Paul Baker (Louise) and Noel Eggers (Pat) all of Monette, Bob George (Marie) of Lake City, Danny Eggers and Barry Eggers both of Jonesboro as well as many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a daughter, Elizabeth Gay Bupp-Perrin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Monette Church of Christ with Bro. Josh Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at the Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Marc Bupp, Eric Bupp, Aaron Bupp, Jordan Perrin, Nathan Perrin and Remington Bupp. The congregation of Monette Church of Christ are named as honorary pallbearers.
