Carolyn Hunnicutt 69, died Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was born to Robert "Polly" and Wilma Black June 21, 1944. She worked for Hytrol Conveyor for 28 years. She was an active member of Fisher Street United Methodist Church where she was the financial secretary, President of United Methodist Women, Fisher Street Women's circle, Head of the Memorial Committee, a Lay Delegate, and office volunteer, an active member of the Bible Study Group and a member of the Passmore Summer Lunch Program. Carolyn was a Pink Lady Hospital Volunteer with the NEA Baptist Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Jamie Hunnicutt of Jonesboro, one brother, Robert (Dee) Black, of Hazen, Ar and one sister Thea (Bob) Mathis of Hot Springs, Ar. One grandson, Jacob Ritter of Jonesboro, four nieces, Kristy Grunwald, Jenny Simmons, Mandy Cordell and Maggie Mathis, and one nephew Robert Black III. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00p, Monday July 8, 2013 at Fisher Street United Methodist Church of Jonesboro. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of Fisher Street Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. To serve as pallbearers are Robert Black III, Doug Grunwald, Jason Simmons, Benji Cordell, Andy Anderson, Leon Hedger and Ron Hedger. Honorary pallbearers are Members of the Birthday Club, Members of the Fisher Street UMW, Employees of Hytrol Converyor and Fisher Street Sunday School Class.
