Carolyn "Sue" Sullinger, 80, of Maynard, departed this life on September 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to the late Oscar and Ora Gentry on December 11, 1944. Sue married the love of her life, Lorn Sullinger, on August 11, 1960.  She retired from TRW Cinch and was a member of the Pocahontas United Pentecost Church. Sue was a pillar of unwavering faith, a devoted and loving wife, and the heart of her family. Her strength and love will echo in our lives forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ora Gentry; daughter, Tammy Blackwell; siblings, Bill, Rex, Bob, Jerry, Gene, Helen, Katherine, Genive, Blondie and Shirley.

She is survived by her husband Lorn Sullinger; daughter, Kathy McCloud; grandchildren, Kandi Guerra, Justin (Mary) Tidwell, Mark (Kelley) Blackwell, Adam (Courtney) Blackwell and Sarah (Brian) Coomer; great-grandchildren, Peyton (Malorie) Guerra, Victoria Tidwell, Trenton Tidwell, Logan Guerra, Caeden Blackwell, Emma Tidwell, Sophia Tidwell, Layla Tidwell, Talen Cagle, Landree Cagle, Brody Blackwell, Benson Blackwell, Finlee Cagle, Baker Blackwell, Boston Blackwell and Beau Blackwell; great-great-grandchildren, P.J. Guerra and baby Guerra due April 2026 along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral service will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Pocahontas United Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at the Maynard Cemetery.
