Jonesboro- Carolyn Lucille Passmore, 77, passed Monday, July 3, 2023 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born November 11, 1945 to the late Chester and Velma Hoggard in Leachville and was a 1963 graduate of Caraway High School. Carolyn was baptized in 1956 and joined the Community of Christ Church. She was an ordained minister and served many years as Director of Kid's Bible Club in North Jonesboro. Much of her career was at The Children's Clinic working in the lab.

She was survived by her husband of 57 years, Martin Passmore; a son, Neil Passmore both of Jonesboro; twin brother, Gary Hoggard (Ann) of Jonesboro; two sisters, Joy Colburn of Parson, Kansas and Janis Coleman (Gene) of Osceola; granddaughters, Victoria Passmore and Mary Passmore of Pace, Florida; bonus daughter, Phyllis Rye; sister-in-law, Betty Hoggard and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Todd Passmore; brothers, JL and Carl Hoggard (Inez); sisters, Shirley Pardew and Mildred Ferguson; niece, Chandra Davis and nephew, Lloyd Dale Harlan.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce and Joan Primm officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery near Bono.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers, Caleb Davis, Steve Primm, Kerry Keasler, David Combs, Mark Passmore and Melvin Veldery and as honorary pallbearers, Joan Primm, Cathy Clark, Lois Jean Brooks, Joyce Brooks Nash and Lou Lasley.
