Carolyn A. Gearhart, born on March 27, 1940, to the late Jon and Gladys Knotts Anderson in Attica, AR, passed away on May 2, 2025. Carolyn dedicated many years of her life to working in retail sales and attended First Baptist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Jeff Gearhart, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Gearhart. Her brother Bob (Joan) Anderson her sister, Peggy (Danny) Oliver. Her cherished grandchildren include Corey Gearhart, Lauren Clayton, Catelyn Hall, and Cody Hall. Carolyn also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews: Stephanie Harris, Rob Anderson, Jon Anderson, Melissa Gearhart, Melinda Gallaher, Sarah Gearhart, Chrissy King, Jason Gearhart, Jeremy Gearhart, Josh Boyles, Joey Petross, Kelly MacAulay and Rebecca Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Gearhart, and two sons, Scott Gearhart and James Gearhart.

Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday May 9, 2025, at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11 AM at the Chapel with Brother Ross Burton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Nelson Cemetery following services with Brother Hovis officiating.
