Mrs. Carolyn S. Benton of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life Monday, September 19,2022 at the age of 70, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born Nov. 27,1951 in Truman, Arkansas, the daughter of Evon Woodruff.

Carolyn married Almos L Benton in 1977. She was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker and enjoyed soap operas and cooking big breakfasts'.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Almos, in 2003, One daughter, Leisa Bryan and One sister, Linda Benton.

She is survived by Two children, Lincoln Benton, of Harrisburg , Bryce and his wife Brittany Benton of Lincoln, Arkansas. One sister, Jackie and Rick Benton of Fresno, CA. As well as Seven grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Holly Springs Cemetery.
