Obituary

Hardy- Carlos Lee Dent Jr., 52, passed from his earthly home to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born July 25, 1966 in Jonesboro to Lee and Doris Dent. Carlos lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1984. He loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Lena Dent and Bill and Lucy Orr; a dear friend, Kathy Pendarvis and his beloved beagle Max.

He is survived by his parents, Lee and Doris Dent; sisters, Carol Smith (Tom), Diane Faisst (Tim), Carla Phillips (Steve) and Lena Manning (Russ) and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A celebration of his life will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Truxler and Rev. Billy Vanderbilt officiating. Interment will follow at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers, his cousins, David Dent, Eddie Dent, Gene Dent and nephews, Jordan Faisst, Matt Faisst and Caleb Manning and honorary pallbearers, Matt Vaughn, Clay Houston and his coworkers at Many Islands.

In lieu of flowers lasting memorials may be sent to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
