Bay- Carl Eugene Hogan, 83, passed away December 15, 2022 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born on February 16, 1939 in Lake City, to the late Lot Monroe Hogan and Lorene White Hogan. He was a retired farmer and worked for Town & Country International for several years until his retirement in 2003. He served in the Arkansas National Guard from 1957-1964. Carl pastored at several Missionary Baptist Churches for over 50 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bay. When they were winning, he liked to watch the St. Louis Cardinals. Walking and exercise were some things he liked to do. Family was very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Auda Fay McMasters Hogan; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Rebecca Rose (Roger); son: Dal Hogan (Beverly); grandchildren: Gavin Combs (Amber), Garrett Combs (Bonnie), Janna Hamilton (Wade), Brett Hogan (Summer), Bart Hogan, Beau Hogan, and Blake Hogan (Brandie).

Visitation will be held at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:30p.m. until service time. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Elvis Brandon and Bro. Danny Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Gavin Combs, Brett Hogan, Garrett Combs, Bart Hogan, Beau Hogan, Blake Hogan, Janna Hamilton, and Wade Hamilton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Carbert Rodgers, Phillip Rodgers, Jimmy Rodgers, Donny Rodgers, and Rainia Reithemeyer.

The family requests lasting memorials be made to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
