Obituary

Bryan Hasten Bailey, 51, of Dalton, Arkansas, passed onto heaven on November 21st, 2023,after his battle with cancer.

Bryan was born on March 20th, 1972, to Melvin and Brenda (Croney) Bailey in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Upon graduation from Oak Ridge Central High School, Bryan tried a few careers before settling upon becoming a union electrician. He was a member of the IBEW Local 1516 in Jonesboro where he was very active until his death.

On July 30th, 2004, Bryan married his devoted wife Desiree Winklepleck. They welcomed two darling boys, Jonathon Carl and Daniel Gene.

Bryan was an avid hunter and expert storyteller who loved helping his kids and everyone else' children learn the art of trapshooting. Bryan had a huge heart for his family and friends. He was very active in helping fellow union families who were enduring difficult circumstances.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Desiree, his sons, Jon and Dan, his father, mother, sisters, Michele (James) Sullivan, Marsha (DeWayne) Warner and Melanie (Brian) Hibbard as well as his many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

Bryan is preceded by his dear friend, Michael Blissenbach and his son Anthony.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, at McNabb Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m., service at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Crawford Cemetery.

Honored to be pallbearers are his nephews Timothy Sullivan, Matthew Sullivan and Caleb Sullivan and fellow union electricians Nathan Rhodes, Sam Horn, and Jonathan Simmons. Lifelong friend Kenny Bennett will carry Bryan to his final resting place.

All arrangements are in the care of McNabb funeral home.
