Trumann- Bonnie Marie Garrett, 80, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born June 9, 1940 in Dalton to the late Alvin and Florence Haner. Bonnie was of the Pentecostal faith. Bonnie spent most of her life as a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and quilting and loved animals. She was famous for her biscuits and gravy.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Garrett; brother, Eugene Haner; a great-granddaughter, Braelynn Walker and a sister-in-law, Wanda Haner.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Holmes of Harrisburg, Timmy Garrett (Mechial) of Bono, Pamela Pretty (Roy) of Trumann, Steve Garrett of Harrisburg, Jason Garrett of Trumann, Angela Berry (Gerald) of Jonesboro and Nicholas Garrett (Keechia) of Trumann; a brother, Jerry Haner; two sisters, Shirley Minick (David) of Evening Shade and Carolyn Pulley (Marvin) of Rosebud; eighteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Pulley officiating. Interment will follow at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Garrett, Josh Garrett, Little John Garrett, Johnny Garrett, Michael Freeman and Ricky Whitaker.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
