Bobby Eugene Simpson, 88, of Pocahontas departed this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Bob was born on October 9, 1936, in Eleven Point, AR. to the late Woodrow "Woody" and Zelma Morris Simpson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his wife, Judie Surles Simpson; children, Rhonda (Kim) McDaniel of Jonesboro, Doug (Lisa) Simpson of Houston, TX., and Dennis (Lisa) Simpson of Claremont, CA., stepson, Grant (Karen) Teel of Pocahontas; sisters, Dee (Blaine) Anderson of Springfield, MO. and Debbie (Steve) Tripplett of Kansas; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

No services have been announced. The burial will be private by McNabb Funeral Home.

A memorial is planned for October 10, 2025.
