Obituary
Jonesboro- Bobby R. Ozbirn, 72, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
He was born December 18, 1943 in Searcy to the late Sidney Ray and Helen Geraldene Pope Ozbirn. He was a 1961 graduate of Jonesboro High School. Bob served his country proudly in the Arkansas National Guard in the 875th Engineer Battalion for twenty-eight years. He worked for Union Pacific Intermodal in Memphis and Little Rock for sixteen years. He loved old cars, nature, music and antiques. He attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
He was survived by his wife of twenty-four years - Judy Ozbirn; a daughter, Marjorie Dianne Barber (Russell) of Walnut Ridge; a brother, Marshall Ozbirn of Benson, AZ; a brother-in-law, David Summers of Jonesboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Russell Barber officiating. Interment will follow.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
