Mr. Bobby Joe Johnston, of Trumann, departed this life Monday, June 16, 2025, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 74.

He was born September 03, 1950, in Trumann, AR, the son of the late Joe Warren Johnston and Ester Louise Henry Johnston.

Bobby was a car salesman and was a truck driver. He liked to sing, play his guitar, go hunting, fishing and raising beagles. He enjoyed watching western movies and wrestling.  He was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his parents, Joe and Ester Johnston, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Angel Golliver, three brothers; Mike, Frank and Vance Johnston, the mother of his children, Judy Johnston.

He is survived by his wife; Katie Johnston of the home, three daughters; Melissa and her husband Jim Greuel, Tonya and her husband Chris Haggard, Melanie and her husband Corey Golliver. Eleven grandchildren; Samantha Brumley, Jacob Brumley, Taylor Stevens, Tyler Haggard, Taylor Mathis, Trisha Land, Kim West, Austin Golliver, Nick Golliver, Chase Golliver and Landon Golliver. Sixteen great grandchildren.

Those honored to be pallbearers are Jacob Brumley, Taylor Stevens, Austin Golliver, Chase Golliver, Landon Golliver and Nick Golliver. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Greuel, Corey Golliver and Chris Haggard.

Funeral services have been set for 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June, 19th , at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Rev. Andrew Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
