Mr. Bobby Hughes Shuburte of Harrisburg went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 75.
He was born February 24, 1943 in Savannah, Tn, the son of the late John Shuburte and Edith Ward Shuburte.
Bobby married Patsy Earlene Vance on August 28, 1964 and they enjoyed 54 years together. He retired from E. Ritter Corp. in 1997. He loved to fish, tinker on lawn mowers and enjoyed his gardens. The love of his life was his grandchildren. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Harrisburg and loved the Lord with all of his heart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Vaughn and Betsy Vinson and one brother, Tom Shuburte.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Earlene Shuburte of the home, three children, Randy Shurburte (Cathy) of Trumann, Johnny Shuburte (Teresa) of Marked Tree, and Pam Drew (Fred) of Harrisburg, eight siblings, Johnnie May Armstrong (Larry) of Trumann, Ricky Shuburte (Pam) of Memphis, TN, Danny Shuburte (Kathy) of Jonesboro, Buddy Shuburte of Trumann, Kenny Shuburte of Trumann, Patricia Sutton Clinton, AR, David Shuburte, Sr. (Wanda) of Hattiesville, AR and Jimmy Shuburte of Trumann, seven grandchildren, Breanna Ballew (Brice), Ren Shuburte (Brooke), Tiffany Chaffin, Tristan Shuburte, Chastity Drew, Brailyn Shuburte, and Ariana Shuburte, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Eddie Passmore officiating. Interment will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday Evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will include Ren Shuburte, Tristan Shuburte, Dylan Connally, Michael Armstrong, Brice Ballew and Fred Drew.
