Obituary

Bobby Lynn Glass, Sr., 74, a longtime resident of Imboden, died Wednesday, July 07, 2010, in Randolph County Nursing Home at Pocahontas. Born February 27, 1936, at Garland City, AR., the son of James Wilson Glass, Sr., and Lola Mae Immella Glass, he owned and operated Glass \u0026 Sons Truck Stop near Black Rock for more than 30 years, retiring in September 2009. He was also the longtime owner of Glass Trucking. His parents; two brothers, Darrell Glass and James W. "Junior" Glass, Jr; and one sister, Bonnie Lacava, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary Glass of Imboden; three sons, Bob Glass, Jr., and wife, Karen of Imboden, Michael Glass and wife Lisa of Bono and Tim Glass and wife Shelly of Fort Smith; three daughters, Barbara Meahan and husband Scott of St. Louis, MO, Marsha Wagoner of Pocahontas and Tracy Glass of Imboden; two sisters, Christine Ziegenhorn of Raymond, IA, and Glenda Glenn of Fisher; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany Lindner, Crystal Glass, Ashley Badgett, Tayna Earls, Andrea Brewer, Jannie McGrew, Kandice Wagoner, Randell Wagoner, Brianna Glass, Melissa DeMers, Elizabeth Seaman and Eric Meahan; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, in First Assembly of God Church at Imboden, with Bros. Michael Bradley and Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery at Imboden, under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas. Visitation will be Friday evening, July 9, from 5-8 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Burnett Redd, Eugene Raney, James Stone, Burel Cude, Donald Sanders, Mike Sanders, Donnie Glenn and Ronnie Glenn.
