Maynard- Bobby Joe "Bob" Johnson, 70 went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 1, 2014. Bob was born October 7, 1943 in Hillstring, AR to the late Johnny Pickney and Vera Hassel Finnie Johnson. Bob was a member of Witt's Baptist Church in Maynard, AR. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Johnson of the home, son Tim (Vickie) Williams of Owensboro, KY, daughter Tammy (Steve) Layton of Maynard, 7 Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers Charles (Caroline) Johnson of St. Louis and Jim (Marie) Johnson of Corning, sister Dorothy (Gary) Hart of Corning, several nieces , nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Bruce Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarrett Cemetery. Pallbearers:Tim Williams, Ronnie Cox.
