Jonesboro- Bobby Gene Beck, 84, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
He was born September 24, 1933 in Jonesboro to the late J. E. and Magnolia Duffel Beck. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer and an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived three sons, Bruce Beck (Janet) of Wynne, Bryan Beck (Cecilia) of Jonesboro and Brad Beck (Donna) of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Jerrad Hare (Libby) of Moore Park, CA, Brynn Little (William) of Jonesboro, Brittney Beck and Brandon Beck both of Greenbrier, Jess Beck of Wynne; great-grandchildren, Addison Hare, Ryan Hare, Holden Hare, John David Little and Jack William Little; two sisters and their husbands, Joyce and Herbert Miller of Jonesboro and Jane and Wayne Colbert of Black Oak and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Angie Beck.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2018 at Shiloh Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Friday at the church.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Miller, Lance Miller, Brandon Beck, Mark Colbert, Scott Colbert, Glenn Gambill, Clay Raines, Jerrod Hare, Jess Beck and Randy Watson.
