Pocahontas - Birdie Marie Watson, 81, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Randolph Home. Born December 20, 1928. She is preceded in death by father Birdie Lucas, mother Inez Mann and step-father Joe Mann. Husband, Cecil Watson and brother, Neil Lucas. She was married to Cecil Watson in Hagermann, NM on June 02, 1944. Survivors include: Son, Jim and wife Mary Watson of Maynard, 5 daughters; Joyce and husband Martin Baltz of Pocahontas, Eunice Thiele of husband Jerome of Rodger, AR., Betty Stockwell and husband Tommy of Pocahontas, Carolyn Frankenberger and husband David of California, and Cecilia Henson and husband Frank of Pocahontas. 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Brother Rex Mann of Texas, 3 sisters; Sherry Kent, Ina Jo, and Rita McCaslin all of New Mexico Services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday night from 6-8 p.m.
