Obituary

Mr. Billie Joe Mosley Jr. Of Harrisburg, departed from this life on Thurday afternoon, July 4, 2019 of natural causes at the age of 55. He was born February 11, 1964 in Holland Michigan, the son of Billie Joe Mosley Sr. and the beloved Evelyn Sue Easley.

Billie was a retired mason of Mosley Masonries in Wynne. Even though he was retied he loved to work, everyone who knew him would always see him working on anything he was able to touch. He eventually took up another job as a construction worker for Mr. Bobby Lamb of Harrisburg. His hard working soul came from being a dedicated veteran from the Navy where he served 7 years in the armed forces on the Destroyer working on the ships engines. As our Lord once said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Is a true statement of his life work. He enjoyed being stationed at Japan, Australia, and the Philippines where he could impact many other as well. Billie was an intelligent man, being a strategists he knew just the right poker face to put on to bluff anyone who dared to take a chance at playing chess, checkers, cards, or dominoes and he would win.

He loved being at the lake whether he was jumping off of cliffs or fishing. He was an artist, a garden, an amazing cook either in kitchen or outside bbq-ing with friends and family. He loved many people dearly, but he was a family man most of all. He was happiest spending time with his loved one being able to crack a joke and make someone laugh. His exterior seemed intimating but his soul was extremely kind and gentle even with animals. He loved his dogs like they were his flesh and blood, Sadie and Baby. He was a faithful Christian who also studied many religions to quince his hunger about God.

He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Sue Easley (Brand) in February of 2015 of Harrisburg, his brother James Gregory Mosley in December 30, 2015 of Wynne, a step-son Devon Alexander Battles of Wynne, and two niece who were a sweet angel babies, Carol Sue-Ann Mosley and Gracie Ray Miles.
