Billy Joe "Bill" Skimahorn, Sr, 76, of Imboden passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at his home.

He was born April 2, 1947 in Walnut Ridge to the late Louie Tom and Vicy Collins.  Bill worked as a welder and a car dealer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Vicy Skimahorn; son, Billy Joe Skimahorn Jr; five brothers, Otis, Charlie, Junior, Jim, and Alan Ray Skimahorn; and two sisters, Mary Davies and Vicky Skimahorn.

Bill is survived by his wife, Frances Jewell Huckabee Skimahorn; two sons, Timmy Skimahorn of Walnut Ridge and Steven (Tina) Skimahorn of Corning; three stepchildren, Raymond Alphin, Debbie Fulbright, and Dana Callahan; twelve grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Becky Skimahorn; two brothers, Loyd and Roger Skimahorn; three sisters, Ruth (Jim) Parten, Jewel Lewis, and Louise Hipp; special niece, Terri (Tim) Holevis; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2024 from 12-1 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 1 PM with Phillip Keeling officiating.  Burial will follow in Morrow Cemetery near Beech Grove.
