Jonesboro- Billy Wayne Berry, 81, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 25, 1937 in Lake City to the late Willard and Florence Berry. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He worked for Lincoln Manufacturer for many years. He was a faithful member of Greensboro Road Church of Christ. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards and having fun. Billy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Berry; two daughters and their husbands, Becky and Mike Felts and Vicky and Stephen Robertson all of Jonesboro; grandchildren and their spouses, Brandon and Lydia Felts of Huntsville, Mikayla and Noah Flanrey of Paragould and Shelby and Alan O'Neal of Manila; great-grandchildren, Owen O'Neal, Heidi Felts and Everett Flanrey; sisters, Lois Watts (Les) of Cave City, Betty Lewis of Rector, Freda Gibson of Missouri, Willadean Cole of Paragould, Rose Kraiger of Cave City, Peggy McCormick of Tennessee and Faye Townsley (Harrison) of Cave City.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James C. Berry.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Greensboro Road Church of Christ with Terry Joe Kee and Mark Brewer officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Stoker, Herman Tinsley and John Robertson.
Lasting memorials may be sent to The Children's Home in Paragould.
