Paducah, KY- Billie Taylor Steele Mangrum, 87, formerly of Monette, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She was born March 26, 1926 in Flint, Michigan to the late Ira Lee Taylor and Ruth Wallace Taylor. Mrs. Billie was a homemaker and loved to paint and travel. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Terry Allan and Cindy Steele of Birch Tree and Sandy and Monroe Sloan of Paducah; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mangrum and a son, Jerry Steele. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, March 21, 2014 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Monette Memorial Cemetery with Bob Blankenship officiating. Burial to follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.
