Ms. Billie Sue Stallings of Jonesboro, departed this life Saturday, November 04, 2017, at St. Bernard's Medical Center at the age of 79.
She was born August 9, 1938, in Manila, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Berl Henry Price and Margaret McGill Price.
Sue received an Associate Degree in General Studies from Florida Keys Community College. Early in life she worked at Sears and the USO. She later became a Real Estate Agent and spent most of that career in Jonesboro. She loved reading and computer games but the love of her life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one brother, George Milton Price and a great grandson, Levi Jase McKnight.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Alan Stallings of Fayetteville, AR and Michael Lee Stallings (Sheila) of Jonesboro, AR, one daughter, Marcia Ann Pruitt (Alan) of Tucson, AZ, one brother, Berl Wayne Price (Jeri) of Jonesboro, AR, one sister, Donna Powell of Batesville, AR, six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the Gregg - Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Mr. Shawn Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday morning, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Members of the Jonesboro Fire Department will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
