Mr. Billie Joe Mosley, Sr. of Cherry Valley, departed this life Monday, August 30, 2021, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 81.

He was born November 26, 1939 in Fulton, MS, the son of the late William Price Mosley and Exie Wallace Mosley.
Billie was a brick mason and loved to fish. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Susie Brand and Diane Mosley, two sons, Billie Mosley, Jr. and Jamie Mosley, two brothers, James mosley and Wallace Mosley, and three sisters, Earline Mosley, Pat Dempsey, and Joyce Ann Mosley.

He is survived by one son, Scott Mosley of Cherry Valley, three daughters, Hope Bell (Wendell) of Harrisburg, Monica Farmer (Gary) of Colt, and Kathy Smith (Wade) of Harrisburg, his significant other, Sandra Wallace of Cherry Valley, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He will be cremated and buried with honors at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery at Birdeye. Those services will be Monday, September 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. and honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps. and the VFW Honor Guard.
