Billie Raye Haley, 88, of Pocahontas, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Randolph County Nursing Home.

Billie was born April 12, 1933 Randolph County to Bill and Edna Johnston Meeks. She was a member of Sutton Freewill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Haley; parents, Bill and Edna Meeks; brother, J.C. Meeks; sister, Eula Hoggard; and great-great granddaughter, Raylynn Kimble.

Billie is survived two sons, Jimmy (Virginia) Haley and Dannis (Vickie) Haley of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Terran (Shane) Halliburton of Maynard and Rose Hannah Haley of Pocahontas; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne (Dakota) Kimble of Maynard and Gus (Morgan) Halliburton of Maynard; one great-great grandson, Aden Kimble; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 6-8 P.M. at Sutton Freewill Baptist Church. Services will be Wednesday 2 P.M. at Sutton Freewill Baptist Church with Kevin Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at Maynard Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Darrell Hoggard, Shane Halliburton, Gus Halliburton, Dakota Kimble, Jerry Yancy and Chris Yancy.
