IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Billie Raymond
Lynxwiler
May 10, 1937 – January 13, 2026
Billie Raymond Lynxwiler, 88, of Warm Springs, left this world on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Billie was born in Brakebill, Arkansas, on May 10, 1937, to the late Hubert Homer Lynxwiler and Bessie Mae Feezor Lynxwiler. He was a sawmiller and cattle farmer. Working hard and providing for his family was very important to him.
Billie spent many happy years dominating the tractor pull world with his best friend, Dave Hanson, and their Oliver tractors. He also liked buying unusual animals, such as a herd of buffalo. He loved farm life and, in later years, enjoyed sitting on a bench out in his back yard, watching the squirrels and birds, and other wildlife. He loved his family and was very proud of his wife and kids, and nothing made his face light up as much as a hug from his grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bessie Lynxwiler and brother, Doyle Lynxwiler.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elva Ruth Whitrock Lynxwiler; daughter, Jana (Dr. Dan) Nichols of Jonesboro and son, Dr. Kevin (Chris) Lynxwiler of Highland; grandchildren, Danielle, Brandi (Ben), Seth (Kirsten), Kristianna, and Kaleigh (Dr. H.D.); great-grandchildren, Liam, Magnolia, Branch, Rollo, Millie, Briar, and one on the way, Georgia; and brothers, Jerry Lynxwiler of Doniphan, MO and Gary Lynxwiler of Obion, TN, as well as many other close friends and family.
Visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026, with the Celebration of Life to begin at 2:00 pm. All services will be held at Brakebill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Brakebill Cemetery.
