Billie Raymond Lynxwiler, 88, of Warm Springs entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Billie was born in Warm Springs on May 10, 1937, to the late Hubert Home Lynxwiler and Bessie Mae Feezor Lynxwiler. He was a sawmill operator and cattle farmer, and his work was truly his life. Billie enjoyed participating in tractor pulls and buying unusual animals, pursuits that reflected his hardworking spirit and love of rural life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bessie Lynxwiler and brother, Doyle Lynxwiler.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elva Ruth Whitrock Lynxwiler; daughter, Jana (Dr. Dan) Nichols of Jonesboro and son, Dr. Kevin (Chris) Lynxwiler of Hardy; grandchildren, Danielle, Brandi, Seth, Kristianna, and Kaleigh; great-grandchildren, Liam, Magnolia, Branch, Rollo, Millie, Briar, and one on the way Georgia; brothers, Jerry Lynxwiler of Doniphan, MO and Gary Lynxwiler of Obion, TN; special friends, Dave Hanson and Bill Glisson along with many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026, with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. All services will be held at Brakebill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Brakebill Cemetery.
