Jonesboro - Mrs. Billie June Burns, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021at The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould.

She was born July 18, 1937 in Cash to the late Melvin and Dona Collins Horton. Mrs. Billie worked in retail for many years. She enjoyed bird watching and loved her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Bobbitt (Jerry) of Bay, Barry Burns of Sherwood and Tim Burns of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kelli Merryman (Drew), Tom Burns, Jonathan Bobbitt (Ashley) and Randi Burns (Cody Baugh); great-grandchildren, Gavin, Kinleigh, Bryleigh, Eli, Gabby, Isaac, Logan, Gentry and Millie and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Burns; four brothers and five sisters.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Mike Webb and Ted Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jonathan Bobbitt, Drew Merryman, Sam Jolly, Cody Baugh, Michael Horton and Tom Burns.
