Pocahontas - Bill Durf Prichard, 95, passed away April 6, 2009 at home. He was born January 30, 1914 in Camargo, OK. To the late George and Edith Prichard. He is preceded in death by daughter, Freida Kay Radcliff, three brothers, Cleo Prichard of Vici, Oklahoma, Jake Prichard of Garden Grove, California, and Ernest Babe' Prichard of Sanford, Texas. And two sisters, Georgia Jones of Borger, Texas, and Freda Prichard of Garber, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Elizabeth (Hinders) Prichard of the home, children, William J. (Debbie) Prichard, Stephen Joseph (Sandy) Prichard, Richard Ray (Lisa) Prichard, James Thomas Prichard, Mary Catherine (Bill) Callahan, Michael Durf Prichard all of Pocahontas. Larry George (Jo) Prichard of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Charles Mark (Rhonda) Prichard of Colleirville, Tennessee, and Bobby Burke (Cindy) of Paragould, Arkansas. Brother, Raymond Prichard of Vici, Oklahoma, son-in-law, Jim Radcliff, 29 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He worked for the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America for 43 years and Doni Martin Day Care Center for several years. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and bird hunter. In his earlier days in Texas he enjoyed hunting coyotes with greyhounds, along with bird hunting. After he retired and until he was 95 years old he enjoyed cooking for his family especially on Sunday for a family meal. He was also married to his wife for 72 years. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Charitable Trust, Doni Martin Day Care Center, or to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Service will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Burial will follow to St. Paul's Cemetery with Father John Marconi officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 Wednesday night in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a 7:00 p.m. rosary following.
