Obituary
Monette - Beulah Ware Cannon, 90, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
She was born September 2, 1927, in Monette to William Aud and Lizzie Ware Stewart. Until her retirement, she was postmaster at the Monette post office. She was a member of the Monette United Methodist Church. She was also a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a fine golfer at the Kennett Country Club and a terrific gardener.
She is survived by three children; Lou Ann Shannon and Jeanie Fouts of Covington, Georgia, and Allen Read of Monette; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 am Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Macey Cemetery just outside of Monette.
Visitation will be 9:30 am until 11:00 am Tuesday at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
