Our loving mother went to be with her heavenly father on December 2, 2013 Born on October 18, 1937 to Hershel and Ocie Tackett in McNairy County TN, she was the oldest of four children. Bettye loved her children and took pride in devoting her life to her family. Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Thomas Dobson, son; Thomas Randall Dobson and daughter; Rhonda Faye Dobson. She is survived by two sisters; Millie Beacham and Barbara Sanders, and brother; James Tackett, son; Billy Tackett, and daughters; Helen Pervin, Evonne McMinn and Tracy Cook. Bettye had eight grand- children Nichole, Kim, Erica, Amanda, Hunter, Barbara, Jasen and Stephen; as well as great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday night December 6, 2013 from 6-7:00 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home located at 300 West Matthews Avenue, Jonesboro, AR. Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery located at 3910 Harrisburg Rd. in Jonesboro.
