Obituary

Bono- Betty Sue Whited Perkins, 81, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018.

She was born January 1, 1937 in Ash Flat to the late Calvin and Nova Thelma Haskins Whited. Betty Sue was a retired farmer and homemaker, who loved flowers, sewing, music, dolls, quilts and shopping. She was a member of the Fontaine Baptist Church. She loved "Little House on the Prairie." She loved her family and talking to her friends.

She is survived by three sons and their wives, Calvin and Debbie Perkins of Fayetteville, TN, Robert and Daphne Perkins of Lorado, Keith and Renee Perkins of Lonoke; two daughters, Donna Perkins Woods and husband, Jeff of Bay and Anita Perkins Casteel and husband, John of Batesville; thirteen grandchildren, Ashley Jackson (Ryan), Christina Mixon (Steven), Rachel Rieger (Alex), Sarah Perkins, Hannah Jackman (Joe), Alec Childress, Wesley Perkins, Dustyn Perkins (Sammie), Jacob Perkins, Graycen Russell (Kyle), Mallory Perkins, Jake Leonard, Nikkolette Perkins; four great-grandchildren, Chris Jackson, Connor Jackson, Madison Mixon and Natalee Mixon; a host of nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Jimmy Leon Perkins; three grandchildren, April Michelle Woods, Emily Ann Perkins and Landon Scott Perkins; three brothers, Don Whited, Leroy Whited and Rayburn Whited.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Bono United Methodist Church with Rev. Byron Griffey officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home and from noon until time of service Monday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Alec Childress, Wesley Perkins, Dustyn Perkins, Jacob Perkins, Jake Leonard, Orin Lee Whited, Aaron Whited and Dan Whited and as honorary pallbearers her granddaughters.
