Obituary
Jonesboro- Betty Rowena Wells, 78, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019.
She was born July 3, 1941 in Ravenden to the late Zelmer and Maxine Oliver Wells. Mrs. Wells retired from Shelter Insurance where she worked as a secretary in claims department. She was an avid bowler in Jonesboro and qualified for state tournaments for over thirty years. She was a member of the North Main Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Jessie Tune of Jonesboro, Glenda Balderas of Parsons, TN and Janna Andrade of Aurora, IL and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mike Tune, Shaun Smith and Shane Smith
