Pocahontas- Betty Jean VenableFoster, 87, entered into eternal peace on Friday, May 16, 2014. Betty was born January 13, 1927 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Charles Ewing and Margaret Ethyl Venable. She is survived by her husband Jake Foster of the home, two daughters Bev Foster of Little Rock and Mindy (David) Golliher of Cape Girardeau, grandchildren Andrew Steven Protz of Athens, Georgia, Jacob Foster Davis of Rockville, Maryland, Charles Bevan Davis and Frederic Hart Davis. Graveside services will be held at Foster Cemetery Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rocky Starnes officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the 1st United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, Arkansas or Boy Scouts of America.
