Jonesboro- Betty Lue Spencer, 73, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home. She was born April 14, 1943 in Lake City to the late Walter and Elsie Dunn Collins. She worked for Arkansas Glass for thirty-two years and was a member of Bard Free Worship. She loved the Lord and her family. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Hanley of Jonesboro and Steve Hanley of Paragould; a grandson, Bodey Hanley of Jonesboro; a great-granddaughter, Trisha Hanley of Jonesboro; two brothers, Floyd Collins and Jerry Collins both of Jonesboro; three sisters, Lois Carter of Jonesboro, Francis Schultz of Winmac, Indiana and Catherine Clayton of Jonesboro. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Spencer; a brother, Clois Collins; a sister, Mildred Collins; a granddaughter, Kandi Hanley; a grandson, Phillip Travis Leroy Hanley Jr. A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Marlin Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelog Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 pm Tuesday at Gregg Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Phillip Hanley, Bodey Hanley, Carl Adams, Brandon Carter, Stoney Clayton and Kim Clayton.
