Imboden- Betty Jane Selvidge, 71, passed away on March 13, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Betty was born March 7, 1947 in Hoxie, AR to Amos Clarence and Lorene Beatrice Pierce Cates.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Lorene Cates; and 2 brothers, Bob and Bill Cates.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Selvidge of the home; 4 sons, Jeff Brown of Piggott, Gary (Amy) Bookout of Walnut Ridge, Gary Brown of Campbell, MO, Christopher Selvidge of Aurora, CO; 7 grandchildren, Brett (Jade) Bookout of Batesville, Brook Bookout of Portia, Makisha Dail of Walnut Ridge, Danyail (Brent) Smith of Hoxie, Destiny Dail of Walnut Ridge, Daniela and Michael Selvidge both of Aurora, CO; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Junior Cates of Mountain View, Kenneth Cates of Ravenden; and 1 sister, Sue Smith of Imboden.

All services will be at the Imboden Church of Christ. Visitation will be on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Kerry Hueter and Bill Willard officiating. Burial will be in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia.
