Bono- Betty Ruth Russell Blanchard, 67, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1947 in Hickory Ridge to the late J.D. and Rose Lee Hampton Russell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, crocheting, bowling, going to auction sales, working with flowers and her dog, "Punkin". She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was survived by her husband, Bill Blanchard; her children, Bill Blanchard Jr (Becky) of Paragould, Cecilia Hodge of Bono and Michell Blanchard of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Dale Russell of Daytona, FL, Wayne Russell and Danny Russell both of Hoxie; two sisters, Dora Haff of Jonesboro and Debbie Huffman of Hoxie; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Vickers officiating. Burial to follow at Trinity Cemetery near Bono. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the funeral home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jimmy Wood, Jerry Huffman, Danny Russell, Wayne Russell, Marty Hardy and Bill Haff and as honorary pallbearers, her brothers-in-law.
