Obituary

Manila- Betty Lou Richardson, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2017 at Manila Nursing Center.

She was born December 30, 1935 in St. Louis to the late Clifford and Ava Robinson. A longtime resident of Osceola, Betty was a homemaker and co-owner of Blacor Welding Supply. She and her husband, the late Charles O'dell Richardson moved to Jonesboro in their later years of retirement. A faithful member of Bethel Church of Osceola which she and Charles always called home. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She touched many lives through her church ministry and everyday life.

In addition to her husband of fifty-eight years and her parents. Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Carty, Pat Chaney, Jean Sanders; Gloria Johnson and her only brother, Clifford "Butch" Robinson.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Richardson Flannigan ( Dr. Robert); a sister, Margie Baker; grandchildren, Dr. R. David Flannigan (Kathryn) and Rebekah Flannigan Hibbard (Jason); two great-grandchildren, John David and Elizabeth Anne Flannigan.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Monette Memorial Cemetery.
