LOMPOC, CA-Betty J. Pierce, 68, died December 25, 2007. She was a former resident of Pocahontas and a daughter of the late Albert and Imogene Johnson Cox. Survivors include two sons, Scott Pierce and Steven Pierce, two daughters, Shanna Busick and Shaila Richards, all of California, a sister, Judith Seyler of Pocahontas and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday Februray 2, 2008 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Nelson Henderson officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
