Pocahontas - Betty Jo Peeler, 81, passed away Tuesday November 11, 2008 at her place of residence. She was born July 15, 1927 in Pocahontas, AR., to the late Joe and Pearl Long. Survivors include daughter Mary Swann and grandson James Swann of Pocahontas. Two sisters Jenetta Moore and Jean Lewallen also of Pocahontas. Graveside service will be held 2:00 Thursday at Palestine Cemetery with Chad Deshaw officiating.
