Jonesboro – Betty Marlene Spencer, 86, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born April 27, 1935 in Cash to the late James and Cora Hamilton. Betty graduated from Bay High School. She married Howard Spencer in 1959 and they spent thirty-five wonderful years together. Betty was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed being with family any chance she got.

She is survived by two sons, Craig Spencer of Jonesboro and Bruce Spencer of Bay; three sisters, Greathel Turner of Jonesboro, Bobbie Harrison of Jonesboro, and Brittie McKinny of Rockford, Illinois; three grandchildren, Josh White of Trumann, Taylor (Nick) Hawley of Paragould, and Seth Spencer of Bay.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Spencer, three brothers and six sisters.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, November 29, 2021 at Nettleton Cemetery with Bob Baker officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
