Pocahontas - Betty Lou Hyatt, 86, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at St. Benards Medical Center. Born June 10, 1924 in Gatewood, MO. To the late Jesse and Rosa Hyde. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jay and Jackie Hyde and 3 sisters; Mildred Miller, Florence Miller and Jessie Bennett. She is survived by brother, Gaston Hyde of Poplar Bluff, three sisters; Edna Sorrell of Newton, KS., Glenna Hastings of Mathis, TX., and Rowena Cota of Cresthill,Illinois. Also 36 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hyatt was a retired Walgreens Manager in Chicago, IL for 30 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Stan Rogers and George Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtle Cemetery located in Myrtle, MO. Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6-8:00 p.m.
