Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jo Hansen of Jonesboro, departed this life Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House at the age of 78.
She was born September 8, 1941 in Greenbrier, AL, the daughter of the late Jesse Russell and Leona Mae Rodgers Russell.
Betty was a beautician and enjoyed going to the senior Citizens Center. She loved watching Westerns on television, mowing her yard, and going to casinos. She definitely loved the outdoors and fishing. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry Hansen, a granddaughter, Allison Gillmore and by three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Dana Forrest (Barry), Tonya Hinson (Steve), and Sonya Gillmore (Chad), four brothers, eight grandchildren, Brandon Buhrmester (Holly), Cody Forrest, Ashley Cheney (Dale), Gus Hinson, Luke Hinson, Landon Gillmore and Logan Gillmore and three great grandchildren.
Services will be private and under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
