Betty Sue Ferrell, 69, of O'Kean passed away August 7, 2023 at her home. She was born to the late Sam L. Berry and Thelma King Berry in Walnut Ridge on June 28, 1954. Betty loved crafts and even won an award from HGTV. HGTV asked her for her tips and ideas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Thelma Berry; and her best friend Debbie Lanier.

Betty is survived by her husband, Jesse Ferrell; children, Chris (Sabrina) Ferrell and Loria (Josh) Baldwin; grandchildren, Dylan (Samantha) Ferrell, Jordan (Mariela) Ferrell, Camden Ferrell, Harlyn Ferrell, Alexis (Drew) West, and Ali Baldwin; great grandchildren, Malia Ferrell and Sophie West; brother, Gary (Karen) Berry; sisters Tracy (Byrant) Watson and Velma Shortt.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at United Freewill Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Glenn Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
