Bay- Betty Dean Faulkenberry, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born August 13, 1932 in Cleburne County, Arkansas to the late Posey and Clea Barnett Moody. She was a member of Bowman Baptist Church and retired from Sears. She will be remembered as the family matriarch. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Brenda and David Halfacre of Bay; two granddaughters and their husbands, Kendra and Neil Langston of Ft. Worth, Texas and Kwinn and Stephen Tucker of Chester, Penn.; two great-grandsons, Chase Micaiah Tucker and Maxwell Cap Tucker; seven nieces and nephews, Steve Moody, Rex Holt, Deborah Maglothin, Susan Middlecamp, Donna Rogers, Melody Rawlins and Patty Kelly. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Cap" Faulkenberry; a brother and his wife, O.W. and Johnnie Moody. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Loggins officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Lasting memorials may be sent to Lunsford Baptist Church.
