Mrs. Betty Graham Eastin of Harrisburg departed this life Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 85.
She was born October 23, 1934, in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late James Graham and Lena Steele Sefers.
Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Greenfield Baptist Church. She married Billy Eastin on June 28, 1955, and they enjoyed 37 years before his death in 1992. She was known as a great cook and loved the company of her dogs.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Graham and Bonnie Cannon and two brothers, Odell "Brandy" Turner and Wilburn Graham.
She is survived by one son, Steve Eastin (Sandra) of Harrisburg, one daughter, Kim Eastin of Harrisburg, one sister, Alice Whitney of Jonesboro, two granddaughters, Stephanie Gray of Harrisburg and Suzette Lamberson (Brett) of Jonesboro, and three great grandchildren, Eastin Gray, Emery Gray and Knox Lamberson.
Graveside funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Bethel Cemetery near Harrisburg, with Rev. Tim Hale officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday morning, 9:30 a.m. till service time.
