Jonesboro- Bertha Lorene Wade Passmore went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on February 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born July 26, 1924 in Lake City to the late Clarence and Ruthie James Wade. She was a lifelong devout Baptist.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Passmore; two grandsons, Dennis Daniel and Randy Daniel; a sister, Edith Richey and a son-in-law, Dudley Gibson.

She is survived by three daughters, Norma Daniel (A.C.), Betty Daniel all of Trumann and Barbara Gibson of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Bobby Daniel, Brenda Daniel both of Trumann, Robbin Gibson of Marion, Kimberly Young of Cherry Valley and Carrie Taylor of Tyronza; eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 pm Friday, February 10, 2017 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm Friday at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Martin Passmore officiating. Interment will follow at Bowman Cemetery near Lake City.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jake Gilley, Virgle Passmore, Donnie Taylor, Gary Goad, Bobby Daniel and Hunter Daniel and honorary pallbearers are Cody Gibson and Shawn Daniel.
