Cherokee Village- Bertha Mae McDoniel, 100, formerly of Monette passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was born July 18, 1910 in Dekalb, Texas to the late Silas and Cynthia Cleghorn. May 3, 1925, she married Elijah Truman McDoniel and was together till his death in 1979.
